THE OVATIONS EVENT HAS SOLD OUT. THANK YOU FOR YOUR OVERWHELMING SUPPORT!
At Lorraine Roy Designer Collections and Bridal Boutique, we talk to women every day. Many of these women are not only long-time customers but
have become our friends. And many of them have been touched by the devastating effects of ovarian cancer. A grandmother, mother, sister, aunt...
we feel it every day because what matters to them, matters to us. But what could a dress boutique do to help? As the owner, I decided the answer
was that we could do something. And that something has grown into what we expect to be an event that will inspire, entertain and raise critical
funds to help eradicate this disease. That is how Flight of Fashion: Soaring Toward a Cure was born.
We are going to do what we do best - fashion - all while raising money for Ovations for the Cure - a non-profit organization that supports
ovarian cancer research, awareness and patient programs. Join us for cocktails and dinner, a fashion show, silent auction and charity drawing.
Plus, we've got some great celebrity guests attending including our emcee Kim Carrigan of Fox 25 Morning News and a song performance by
MAGIC 106.7's Candy O'Terry. Other media personalities scheduled to attend include Karen Swensen (NECN), Lisa & Kendra from
KISS 108's Matty in the Morning, Michele McPhee (WTKK), Stella Mars and Julie Devereaux (WROR), Karen Blake (WODS),
Kennedy (MIX), Lori Grande and Carolyn Kruze (WKLB) and Amanda Giles (MAGIC). We hope you will join us!

I was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer (Stage 1A) on 8/20/07. I had each of the early warning symptoms for several months: abdominal bloating,
urinary urgency with back pain and nausea after most meals. How could such vague symptoms indicate such a serious medical condition? I
continually share my story with anyone who will listen in the hopes that others will seek early treatment for this deadly disease.
Thanks so much for my "Happy Feet Shoes." When my feet are happy, my whole body feels happy. Cancer has taught me what is important
in my life: family, friends and colleagues. It is unfortunate that we take simple things for granted and stress over small stuff. I now feel
part of a special, elite club - the Big "C" Club. I have been blessed with the support of so many caring family, friends, healthcare
team and strangers. I hope that others are as fortunate.
Continue your great work with Ovations for the Cure. I have attached some pictures of me and my beautiful shoes. Feel free to share with others.
When I receive complements on my beautiful shoes, I will be sure to mention this organization and my early warning symptoms of Ovarian Cancer.
Thanks again for the thoughtful caregiver gift for my husband. He was so touched when he read my message. It was such an amazing gesture.
Thank you so much,
Lisa Anzisi-Lasagne
